The plot
Welcome to Berlin, one of the dance music capitals! In this mix I tried to capture the soul and the sound of this city. Most of the tracks are from German producers or devoted to Berlin, starting from the intro, which is from the 1987 Wim Wenders movie Der Himmel Über Berlin (in translation The Sky Over Berlin, but actual English title for theatres was Wings of Desire). This short sample from the film made me an inspiration for the cover, with the title rises above the clouds over Berlin. I really like symbolism, in a way that some things lead to another and that everything is connected in some manner. For some this mix would be dark, for some will be very positive, is just a perception of a listener. This conflict can be seen even on the cover: the whole city is black and white, but there is a color in the lights near the river Spree and on top of Fernsehturm, Berlin tower. For the first time, I made a set on the same BPM (125) from the first to the last track, but there is a sound progression, which can lead to the feeling that the mix is getting faster reaching the end.
