Music is a Big Prayer

The plot
The idea was to create a progressive mix that would have a bit of a trance tone, something that Sasha and Digweed used to do a lot back in the days. The name for the set came spontaneously. The title is inspired by a reggae artist Alpha Blondy, who once said “Bob Marley’s music is a big prayer...“. This sentence was also used in Trentemøller’s track Nightwalker.

The whole mix is building and calming, one after the other, in a way of creating a floating experience. When I did this set, I felt the music I like in that manner. Most of the tracks were well known, but then again, there was Impulsive, the track known only to the followers of Greek label Klik records, and In A State, which Sasha released on a limited edition cd Involver, the biggest piece of art in the history of electronic music albums. This track is different than his previous remixes, it's very dreamy and nostalgic, with brilliant piano sequences.
