The plot When you look back to the tracks from the beginning of 90s, there aren't many to name, which still sounds good and not outdated. Dub be Good to Me is surely one of them. It was produced by Norman Cook, later to become one of the globally recognized artist under the stage name of Fatboy Slim. This track was the masterpiece of sample usage, because it contains parts of songs from hip-hop (DJ Johnny Dynell - Jam Hot, as the intro), disco (S.O.S. Band - Just Be Good To Me, as the main theme), contemporary classical (Ennio Morricone - Once Upon a Time in the West, as the famous harmonica sounds) and punk (The Clash - Guns Of Brixton, as the bassline). Incredible, isn't it? Then, 25 years later, a guy called Chris Richardson made an epic remix, while I used the old Jam Hot intro and got it mixed with the brand new edit.
Rest of this mix came out naturally. Ricky Sawyer remix was a smooth choice to go further to the rest of the set, with the highlight on John Rous & Alfie Rhodes 'two side variations' track.
Guest mix comes from Poland, from the guy admired as the true underground icon. Cream is one the DJs that grew up to the sounds of The Beatles, formed his taste with trance and house, and built his prime status with the blend of progressive, tech house and techno. Currently, with Deep Fog, he forms a producer duo. Their shared passion for broadly understood electronic music has already resulted in several releases of a very respected labels in the world, such as: Particles, Electronic Tree, Soundteller Records, Never Too Late Recordings, Massive Harmony, OLD SQL Recordings and many others.
