Coloring Orange

Plot
For the first time ever, an album on 2 CDs. Sunrise and Sunset mix.

It shouldn't have been like that, it wasn't a plan. It just happened. I collected a bunch of tracks that would fit my orange idea, but double album came spontaneously. I wrote notes to myself and left them next to the track titles: dawn, sunrise, morning, noon, sunset, evening, which led to two separate compositions.

Sunrise is a morning mix.
There are few edits of the tracks and the final mashup at the end. It took 20 years for everything to make sense. It was Exit festival in the year 2002. One of the headliners at the Dance arena that year was a house legend David Morales, who began his performance at 4 AM. That magical moment when he dropped the track Another Chance, the sun rose behind the clouds, with the delirium of the remaining audience. Unforgettable to me and a huge inspiration to create this special tribute.

Sunset is an afternoon mix, that would color darker shades of orange and would lead the music into the evening. The atmosphere is set to progressive house, while the closure is with the 20 year old underground classic.
