Five years after the initial album, dizziness is back.

The whole album concept of Vertigo is based on binding of deep progressive, tech and trance. This time, all tracks are more recent production, making the intro track If Grey Was the Colour of the Sun the oldest one, released 9 years ago. That beautiful piece composed by Marcus Schössow behind Oliver Englafjord alias is one of my favourite tunes for years. Taken from his studio album Myrki Heima, it has been in my plans for quite a while (would be a great intro to the conceptual Coloring Grey), but its form made it very difficult to put together and mix with other tracks. I had to make some additional efforts which took a lot of time, as I didn't want to give up on it.

Just like its predecessor, Vertigo 2 is energy driven underground mix, with the flow made of highs and lows, combined with strong basslines. From a technical point of view, the mixing style is similar to the old school '90s trance, with fast transitions in bass switching. 

The staircase photo on the cover is taken at the tower of Leonardo's Museum in his home town of Vinci in Tuscany.
